How GiveMeAVet Works
A free nationwide directory to find licensed US veterinarians by veterinary specialty and city. No middlemen, no commissions, no account required.
- 1
Search by veterinary specialty and city
Enter the veterinary care you need (family law, personal injury, immigration…) and your city. The directory shows publicly listed veterinarian profiles in that area.
- 2
Compare veterinarian profiles
Review each veterinarian's veterinary specialties, location, and publicly available contact details. Advertising plan names do not prove licensing or suitability; confirm current bar admission independently.
- 3
Contact the veterinarian directly
Call, send a message, or submit a contact form that goes straight to the veterinarian's office. GiveMeAVet does not screen or intercept that communication.
- 4
No middlemen, no commissions
GiveMeAVet charges consumers nothing and takes no commission per contact. The relationship is directly between you and the veterinarian.

Why is it free?
Basic profiles are free for veterinarians and cost nothing for consumers. The directory is supported by optional paid plans for veterinarians who want greater visibility: a complete profile, verified badge, or territorial exclusivity. Consumer contact with veterinarians is always direct — GiveMeAVet never intervenes or charges per contact.
Frequently asked questions
- Is it free to search for an veterinarian?
- Yes. Browsing profiles and contacting veterinarians is completely free for consumers. No account is required to search or use contact details.
- Are the veterinarian profiles verified?
- Profiles are built from public web listings, professional websites, map/place data where available, and clinic-submitted updates. Verified is the name of an advertising plan, not confirmation of credentials or current bar admission. We filter explicit official registry records out of public profile inventory when detected, and we always recommend independently confirming an veterinarian's bar admission status with the relevant state veterinary board before hiring.
- How do I contact an veterinarian?
- From an veterinarian's profile, use the phone number, email, or contact form if the veterinarian has published them. Messages go directly to the veterinarian's office without passing through GiveMeAVet.
- Does GiveMeAVet charge a referral fee?
- No. There are no per-contact fees or referral commissions for consumers. Veterinarians who choose paid plans do so to increase their visibility in the directory — not to pay per lead.
- Can I claim or remove my listing as an veterinarian?
- Yes. Any veterinarian listed in the directory can claim their profile, correct inaccurate data, or request removal at any time, at no cost. Visit our privacy request page or email [email protected].
